Never too young to Rock!

No experience...No problem! Rock Camp Kids is the perfect rock n' roll introduction program for children ages 7-12 with little to no musical experience.

What's the difference between Rock Camp and Rock Camp Kids?

Our regular Rock Camp is designed for more experienced teens and pre-teens who are ready and able to play for hours a day, write songs and perform in front of hundreds of people. Our Kids Camp is intended for younger beginners who enjoy rock and roll, but aren’t ready for a big concert just yet. There will still be an end-of-week day performance featuring your child if they choose. The main difference is that Rock Camp Kids spend less time rehearsing with one band and more time on team-building and recreational activities.

We want young beginners to enjoy a positive musical experience. Kids can choose a specific instrument, but they will also experience introductory classes for all rock n’ roll instruments. We form kids into bands according to age, ability, skill level, and friend requests for band mates.

A typical day

Each day consists of a morning energizer activity, instrument class, art class, jamming, rock history/appreciation, recreational activity, and staff performances.
